This fun item first came to my attention over at Make magazine’s blog. Corbis has posted instructions and printable templates to help you create your own pinhole cameras. They are quite beautiful. Although I don’t really use film anymore, I can’t help but be drawn to the idea of the make your own camera.

This could be a fun project to do with your kids / parolees / girlfriend’s cat huddled around a fireplace sipping hot coco as we move into the cold nights of winter. What? It’s summer? I gotta get off this computer and look out the window every once and a while!
