My New Favorite Short Film Shot on a 5D MII

I came across this really wonderful short by Chris Milk shot with a 5D mII. But it could have been shot with a cell phone camera for all I care. It works on several really deep levels for me. But you? Watch it and decide for yourself.

  1. This is so great! I agree, it really resonates. I’m certainly left wanting more, though I love that it is so short and sweet. The lensbaby gives it such a dreamy, haphazard look too – very cool!

  2. It makes you remember every memory you ever had…nice. Nice blog by the way, i read it all the time.

  3. I love it, but it’s a bit short. In fact, the credits are longer than the piece!

  4. Like it! a lot!!!

  6. Hi Taylor,

Thanks for the heads up. I found where they moved it to and updated the object code. Should work now.

    Nice!

  7. wow – incredible amount of emotion for such a short film. beautifully done. I love that he even put a celebrity cameo in it. impressive all around. Thanks for finding it.

  8. I like it a lot. It’s like a series of extended photographs, or decisive moments.

  9. Interesting, yes. Unfortunately it kind of left me without a particular feeling toward it or against it. Just kind of “meh,” which somewhat bothers me since other people seem to have an opinion.

Thanks for updating the source with the correct video link.
