Polarizing Gels Make The Scene – Hooray!
Mason, the man behind Photogels.com, has made my wish come true. He’s now stocking polarizing gels pre-cut for flashes. They are only $5 each! And that’s before the Nice 15% discount coupon code.
I’ve just received a pair and can’t wait to throw this powerful tool into my workflow. I’ll be posting an article in the near future about how I’m going to abuse these puppies, but in the mean time let me say if you’ve ever had a shot where you saw your strobe/umbrella/softbox/etc. reflected in a window, eye glasses, or other shiny surface and felt stranded on an island of hopelessness, well, the rescue boat has just arrived and they’re serving margaritas on the poop deck!
If you can’t wait to find out why you’d want at least two of these polarizing gels with you in the trenches, grab your copy of Light, Science, Magic and flip to page 43. You do own a copy of Light: Science and Magic, right?
Don’t forget to enter the coupon code only available to Nice Photo Mag readers. Type NICE and get 15% off your entire order.

I do not see a place to enter a discount code!
Jim
Hi Jim,
You’ll have to check with photogels to be sure, but I think you enter the coupon after you’ve signed into paypal.
-Nice
The spot to enter the coupon code is in step 2 of the checkout process and for some reason my shopping cart system calls it a redemption code. It’s a little strange but it looks like the discount doesn’t get applied until after the paypal transaction goes through. Don’t worry though, it does get applied.
