Arge! Where is Canon??? At PMA this year I saw the prototype Sony compact large sensor still shooter with HD video recording. Now the word on the street is it will be out come June. Nice. And then they throw this video up.

Yeah, they’ve got a compact large APS-C sensor camcorder with interchangeable lenses coming out down the road. When? Don’t know. My guess? Within a year. Maybe by December.

Will I buy either of these? I don’t know. What I want is a compact camera and a video cam just like these, but with the Canon UI. I’m a Canon shooter. Maybe it’s a sickness.  I just hope if they’ve got something coming, it’s coming soon and that they tell us it’s coming before I crack open the piggy bank for these Sony creatures.
