OH right and a couple of Canon 430ex’s for strobing around town…
My photo gifts were two flourescent photo lights (one 1-bulb, the other 2-bulb) with tripod stands, diffusers, a backdrop stand, 12×12 and 5×5 gels, and a AC master slave flash. In my 20+ years of camera ownership, this is the first time I’ve got equipment that is beyond what simply attaches to the camera. I have a humble Canon EOS 10D that I purchased in early 2004. Before that was a Sony Mavica CD-1000, my first entry into digital in 2001, and before that was a Canon T50 SLR.
The best gift I received on Christmas Day was to be surrounded by my whole family. The Christmas tree was decorated with the old and the new. The old was the wooden angel at the top of the tree that once, many years ago, was part of a mobile that hung over the baby crib. The new was the decoration that read, “New Grandparents” with our names painted on it, and our grandson’s name painted on it.
